Aleksanteri Kaskimaki scored his first career NHL goal, finishing a three-goal third period as the St. Louis Blues rallied from a 4-2 deficit to beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-4 at Little Caesars Arena.

Tampa Bay beat Milwaukee 4-3 in 12 innings in World Series Game 4 on Tuesday night. Jonny DeLuca tied the score with a single, and Ben Williamson singled home the winning run. The Rays avoided elimination and cut the Brewers' series lead to 3-1.
Carolina defeated Boston 2-1 in the NHL. Sebastian Aho scored the winner in the third period, and Pyotr Kochetkov finished with 14 saves.
Boston beat Brooklyn 125-124 in overtime. Jayson Tatum scored 40 points and hit the winning jumper at the overtime buzzer. The Celtics earned their third straight victory.
Delaware defeated Western Kentucky 35-21 in NCAA football. The Blue Hens scored 21 points in the second quarter and held the Hilltoppers scoreless after halftime. Both teams finished the night 2-2 in Conference USA.
Naomi Osaka beat Jasmine Paolini 6-3, 7-6(4) in the first round in Tokyo. The No. 7 seed saved 3 consecutive set points in the second set before finishing in straight sets.
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Karen Khachanov 6-4, 7-6(5) in the first round in Vienna. He recovered immediately after Khachanov broke to serve for the second set.
