Game Summary
On October 18, 2026, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Los Angeles Rams 18-16 at SoFi Stadium. Chad Ryland kicked a 43-yard field goal as time expired to give Arizona its second victory of the season.
Ryland made all 6 of his field goal attempts and supplied every Cardinals point. His final kick completed a late response after the Rams had moved ahead.
Los Angeles threatened to take the game on its final offensive drive. Puka Nacua delivered a 42-yard reception to help set up a touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Colby Parkinson.
That scoring play covered 5 yards and put the outcome back in doubt. Arizona then received help from an unnecessary roughness penalty on its answering possession.
The penalty helped place the Cardinals in position for Ryland's winning attempt. He finished a perfect kicking performance by sending the ball through at the buzzer.
Arizona's special teams provided the difference in a close game largely controlled by the defenses.
