Game Summary
On October 18, 2026, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 at Arrowhead Stadium. Kenneth Walker III scored 2 rushing touchdowns, while Kansas City kept the Chargers out of the end zone.
The Chiefs built a 19-3 lead by halftime. Harrison Butker contributed field goals from 44 and 50 yards before the break, then added a 30-yard kick in the fourth quarter.
Los Angeles briefly threatened to change the game early in the second half. Justin Herbert found Quentin Johnston for a 57-yard gain that brought the Chargers to the 1-yard line.
A holding penalty and further offensive setbacks pushed Los Angeles backward. The possession ended with a Cameron Dicker field goal instead of a touchdown.
Dicker supplied all 6 Chargers points through 2 field goals. Cam Hart intercepted Patrick Mahomes to stop another Kansas City scoring opportunity, but the offense could not close the gap.
The Chiefs improved to 5-0, while Los Angeles fell to 0-6.
