Game Summary

On October 10, 2026, South Carolina defeated Florida 38-19 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville. LaNorris Sellers completed 23 of 35 passes for 279 yards with four touchdown passes and ran for another score in his strongest outing in nearly two years.

Sellers found Nyck Harbor, Mazeo Bennett Jr., Donovan Murph, and Lex Cyrus for touchdowns against a Florida pass defense that entered as one of the SEC's weakest units. The Gamecocks scored twice in the third quarter after a lightning delay extended halftime and ended an eight-game SEC losing streak.

Florida entered as a double-digit home favorite but lost a second straight game after a 45-17 setback at Missouri. Jaden Baugh ran 15 times for 59 yards and a late touchdown, and Aaron Philo turned the ball over twice. South Carolina improved to 3-3 and won in Gainesville for the first time since 2014 while Dylan Stewart returned from a one-game suspension and forced two fumbles.
