The Philadelphia Flyers beat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2. Matvei Michkov scored twice, and Trevor Zegras had 3 assists. Philadelphia won its second consecutive game following a 9-game winless start.
The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the San Jose Sharks 3-1 to end a 3-game losing streak. Gavin McKenna scored the winner on the power play. Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves.
The Utah Mammoth held off the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4. Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz, Kevin Stenlund and Nate Schmidt each had 1 goal and 1 assist. Pittsburgh lost its fourth straight game.
